To promote ocular health in all children by identifying reversible pediatric eye disease by using simple, effective and inexpensive methods for amblyopia screenings.

Stephen R. Glaser, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.P

Dr. Glaser began to develop his Preschool SiGHT Screening System to fill the void of inexpensive, reliable tools to accurately identify reversible vision loss in young children.

Dr. Glaser is a board certified, fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist and eye surgeon. Dr. Glaser completed his fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency in ophthalmology as well as internship at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Glaser's medical degree was conferred at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated with honors from The University of Michigan.

He is a full member of The American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, a Fellow of The American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics, a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons, and is on the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Section on Ophthalmology.

Dr. Glaser is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Georgetown University Medical Center. He is a clinical investigator in the NIH sponsored Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group including the Amblyopia Treatment Study. He is the author of numerous medical publications and presentations. Dr. Glaser was the top recruiter in the country for the NIH ATS 1 study and has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Amblyopia.
